Paul Reichenbach, Director of Camping and Israel Programs
Paul J. Reichenbach has been a senior member of the Union for Reform Judaism staff for over 30 years. He has served as Co-Director of the Kutz Camp, Director of the college department and for 25 years as Director of Israel Programs. He is presently the Director of Camping and Israel Programs with principal responsibilities for the 12 URJ Camps and high school and college programs in Israel. A leader in the field of Informal Jewish Education, Paul has been Chairman of the North American Conference on Informal Jewish Education. A proud alumnus of NFTY and New York University, Paul has three wonderful children who are all alumni of NFTY.

Lori Serbin Lasday, Director of Admissions
Lori Serbin Lasday has a passion for Israel and the power of educational experiences in Israel.  This passion has grown during her lifelong involvement with Israel oriented organizations, her strong personal connections with Israelis and many visits to Israel.  Lori has worked as both a formal and informal educator and recruiter for Israel programs. Lori is a graduate of Chatham College, Pennsylvania College for Women.  She hopes to share her passion for and connection to Israel with past, present and future NFTY-EIE students.

Denise Bulnes, Bursar NFTY in Israel Programs
Denise, a Bronx Native, started with the URJ in the fall of 2002 as an assistant to the comptroller. In the summer of 2006 Denise took over as the Bursar for the NFTY in Israel programs as well as the Bookkeeper for KUTZ Camp in Warwick, NY. Denise enjoys living in Warwick and appreciates her short commute to work!

Baruch Kraus, Principal/Director
Baruch was born to Holocaust survivors in a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany just after World War II, grew up in Brooklyn NY and made Aliyah to Israel in 1969. Baruch was a combat medic in the IDF, and finished as a Commander of a mobile combat triage unit. He is married with two sons and one daughter. Baruch is a graduate of the Youth Leaders Institute in Jerusalem with a diploma in informal education, and is a Government licensed Tour guide. Baruch has his MA in Jewish thought and Jewish History from Touro College. Baruch was the Israeli Emissary to Rochester and Upstate NY 1976-79. He taught and later served as the Principal of the Alexander Muss program. Since 1992 he has worked for NFTY as the creator and Principal of the current rendition of EIE. In addition, Baruch has developed educational touring both in Eastern Europe and Heritage Educational tours of Western Europe for NFTY.

David Solomon, B.A. Assistant Principal
David has worked with NFTY in Israel and the EIE program for the past 10 years in many different capacities and currently in addition to his own teaching responsibilities in the general studies program is working as the general studies coordinator. David, known and loved for his very special sense of humor hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and made aliyah in 1985. After completing a B.A. in History and English Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem David gained certification as a qualified secondary school teacher and has been teaching in some of the most prestigious high schools in Jerusalem ever since.

Ribi Kalifon, Office Manager at Kibbutz Tzuba
Ribi has lived in Israel since 1971 and has been a member of Kibbutz Tzuba for over 25 years. Ribi is the mother of four adult children and recently became a grandmother. Ribi and her husband Reuven, who works as an EIE Jewish History teacher. Ribi and Reuven provide a wonderful personal link between EIE and the members of Kibbutz Tzuba.

Judy Goldstein, Director Student Services
Judy graduated with honors from Tel Hai College. She was a Commander and Hebrew teacher in Basic training for new immigrants from 1998 to 2001. She was also the commander of a course that trains the teachers and prepares them to be commanders and Hebrew teachers. She spent six years of hadracha as a youth counselor in the Noam youth movement. She has been a counselor and educator for NFTY summer programs for the last three-years. Last year Judy was the Director of Counselors and Co-curricular Activities. This summer Judy was the Camp Director for part of the NFTY in Israel summer programs.
