ADMISSIONS CONFERENCE CALL

Each semester, we host a conference call for all of our participants and parents. We have found that it is an important way to join together, hear about our plans for the upcoming semester as well as give all of you the opportunity to ask questions. We hope that you will join us as we have found that the Conference Call has been very helpful in responding to the many questions that you have concerning the application process, the academics and the actual program in Israel. Paul Reichenbach, the Director of Camping and Israel Programs at the Union for Reform Judaism, David Solomon, the NFTY-EIE Assistant Principal and Lori Lasday, the Director of Admissions for NFTY-EIE will speak to the entire group. We discuss the following topics:

• Goals and expectations
• An overview of the itinerary
• The health, safety and security protocols
• The academic program, SATs, ACTs and AP exams
• Touring elements
• The Europe trip

In addition, a recent EIE alum and his/her parents will join us to answer questions and share his/her knowledge of EIE.

The conference call for a Fall semester typically occurs in the middle of May while a conference call prior to a Spring semester typically occurs in the middle of November. More detailed information will be send out to all applicants prior to the call.
